Today's the day!!! Thank you to all the community members, friends, and family, that have supported us in this journey!

We finished our raffle sale and completed the Drawing. The winners have been notified and the baskets are ready for pickup at Logos.

WE FINISHED TUESDAY'S TESTING!! It was a VERY long day but we finally got it over with :) no more memorizing tree species and animal pelts. ONTO SEQUESTRATION THIS THURSDAY

Friday we did our first wildlife training at Ross Lake, saw a turtle, and took a dip! We got some cooling ice cream at a local shop in Chillicothe and got to try some fun flavors! :o)

Wednesday we spent a long day at Lake Erie at the Old Woman Creek National Estuary Marine Center.

Thank you to everyone for taking their day to train with us. We greatly enjoyed everything from kayaking to identifying macro invertebrates. It was well worth the 4 hours drive, and will be very useful for competition next week :o)

Today we got to spend all day at the Wayne National Forest with Kyle, Chad, and Dan. We had a great time learning about white oak forest preservation techniques, the use of burning and fire regimes, measurement techniques (the penny technique), and the affects of mining on stream ecology. We're wrapping up with our first presentation for Katie and Chris to prep for sequestration :))

The humidity is crazyyyy here!
