For 60 years, Community Action Program, Inc. of Western Indiana (CAPWI) has been dedicated to strengthening our communities and helping individuals and families access the resources they need to thrive.

Join the CAPWI Head Start Team! We're looking for passionate individuals to join our Head Start team in the following positions:

🚌 Part-Time Bus Driver – North Vermillion Head Start Center (Cayuga)
• Approximately 16 hours per week
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must have or be able to obtain a CDL with a valid Standard Certificate (yellow card)

🍎 Head Start Teachers – Benton County Center (Oxford) & Boone County Head Start Center (Lebanon)
• Full-time, academic-year positions
• Benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, 401(k), and PTO
• Associate's Degree in Early Childhood required

Teacher position available for our Benton County Head Start Center in Oxford. This is a full-time, academic-year position with benefits: health, vision, dental, life, short-term disability, 401k, and PTO. An Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood is required. This position is a full-time, academic-year position with benefits: health, vision, dental, life, short-term disability, 401k, and PTO. Must have knowledge and experience in child development; the principles of child health, safety, and nutrition; adult learning principles, and family dynamics. Prefer a Bachelor’s degree including 15 credit hours in Early Childhood Education or fields related to social services; or an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or fields related to social services/business.
