Introducing our current Battalion Commander, CDT Lutz, and our Command Sergeant Major, CDT Martin.

Here are their post STX lane thoughts….

“The lanes went great. We were able to see five different iterations, seeing skills showcased by all MS levels and schools, and everyone was able to receive feedback to take with them, which is the goal. I had a fun time hopping in as OPFOR, seeing them all stressed out but getting through it, and continuing to go above and beyond.” - CDT Martin

“I loved how the squads all came together - they were mixed between all the schools and companies but they gelled really well and took constructive criticism from the MSIV’s to apply to their next lanes, which was so great to see. It’s awesome seeing the cadets give each other constructive feedback, how they take it, and how they apply it to improve.“ - CDT Lutz

PT meets Pilates💪

A HUGE thank you to Fitness on High and their instructors for inviting the MU Army ROTC program to their studios! A great morning of movement, challenge, and pushing ourselves to try something a little different from our normal PT.

⭐️CADET SPOTLIGHT⭐️

MU Army ROTC would like to give you some insight into the lives of our cadets. Today, we’re introducing MSII CDT Reese Patterson.

What is your major?
“My major is Sport Communication and Media.”

What inspired you to join ROTC?
“I was inspired to join ROTC because it would help pay for college, and my brother, MU alumni, 2LT Colin Patterson, also inspired me to join.”

What is something your fellow cadets might not know about you?
“I’m a freelance photographer.”

What is one personal goal you’re working towards?
“I want to run a marathon someday.”

What made you join MU Army ROTC compared to other branches/schools?
“I chose MU Army ROTC because it’s a smaller program, I had heard good things about it, and it seemed like the obvious choice for me.”

This morning, our cadets came together with NROTC, AFROTC, and the Crawford’s at Yager Stadium to complete a 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb.

With each step, we honored the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001, as well as the first responders, service members, and families whose lives were forever changed.

Twenty-five years later, we continue to remember their courage, sacrifice, and legacy.

We climb because we remember.

Never Forget. 🇺🇸

Cincinnati Battalion cadets put their physical and mental strength to the test during this year’s Ranger Challenge team tryouts.
