May 2022 is Mental Health Awareness Month. This year, NAMI's theme is Together 4 Mental Health. After two years apart, it's now more important than ever to come together and support one another. Prioritizing your mental health, breaking the stigma, and reaching out for help are all ways we can do this. During this month, OHS will be planning activities to recognize Mental Health Awareness Month.

Today we honored 2 of our athletes who have been offered an opportunity to continue their athletic careers in college. Kate Wickenheisser (Wheaton College) and Ashleigh Dugan (Quinnipiac U). Kate will be a member of the Women's Soccer and Track programs and Ashleigh will be a member of the Acro and Tumbling program.

This year at OHS we will be reasoning money for Connecticut Children’s Foundation that benefits Connecticut children fighting cancer. We are asking students to donate at least $1 to the cause and wear pajamas to school on Friday, December 10th.
