Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor to teach a full load of courses in Geography and Global and Intercultural Studies. Primary teaching responsibilities in Global and Intercultural Studies would be to teach Introduction to International Studies and Issues in the Global South. For the Geography Department, teaching would include an introductory course in World Regional Geography, as well as region-specific Geography courses.
Required: Ph.D. in Geography by date of appointment for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor; or Master’s Degree in Geography by date of appointment for appointment as an Instructor. Position is not eligible for H-1B sponsorship.
Consideration may be given to candidates with regional expertise in Asia, but other regional expertise considered.
