Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi earned continued accreditation from the ACGME for its Internal Medicine Residency Program in October 2023. The full complement includes 36 trainees in the unopposed program, which was the first medical residency in Oxford, Mississippi. Sponsored by Baptist Memorial Medical Education, the three-year residency training program's mission is to train clinica

lly and procedurally competent physicians in the specialty of Internal Medicine who will provide high quality, safe, cost-effective, and patient/family-centered care for adults in North Mississippi, upholding the greater Baptist Memorial Health Care mission of "Healing, Preaching and Teaching".
