That’s a wrap on dollhouse camp 2026! I was BLOWN AWAY by these kids’ creativity and perseverance in all things from planning to assembling to painting to decorating to making their characters… to trying and failing and trying again … and just when I thought maybe they were about to get bored… the MAGIC happened, and they started collaborating and enjoying each others’ work and finding inspiration from the other campers. What a wonderful group of kiddos. Can’t wait to do more in the future!
Ps if you don’t have any Friday evening plans yet, Rise & Play Cafe is open extra late tonight until 8pm. You can come and play or you can literally just go into the AC and get a delicious drink even if you don’t have kids.
PPS. I left our super awesome banner of our dollhouse progress on the chalk wall if you want to sneak a peek before they take it down. :)

Dollhouse camp in Monticello IA starts TOMORROW! There are still a couple spots left!! Dollhouse and all supplies are included. 🎉 This is me putting together a couple example dollhouses before kiddos work together in teams tomorrow to build the rest! 💪 🔨

Camp schedule: Monday - 2:30-6, Wed 12:30-4, Friday 12:30-3:30 then a Showcase 3:30-4!

Throwback to Dollhouse Camp 2024 - WE’RE BRINGING IT BACK NEXT WEEK! This time it’s happening in Monticello at Rise & Play Cafe 🙌 Head to their website and navigate to August 3rd. Camp runs MWF *Time update! Monday, Aug 3rd will be 2:30-6pm, Wed and Fri will remain 12:30-4pm. Showcase on Friday at 3:30!

If you missed out on Lisbon Library messy play story time this morning, you REALLLY missed out! ☔️ We had SO much fun! Sound on for raindrops and giggles!
