Last week our students got to serve their food to Lt. Gov. Rachel Hunt when she visited VGCC's Creedmoor campus!

Chefs-in-training from VGCC's Culinary Arts program prepared and served refreshments for the Lieutenant Governor's visit.

Here are a few more pictures from our Great Pumpkin Cook-off at the OxfordArmory FarmersMarket! Congrats to Lamesha on winning 1st place with her pumpkin and turkey chili with cornbread crumbles. Martain came in second with his pumpkin chicken curry with homemade naan, and Anthony came in 3rd with his pumpkin and Italian sausage stuffed phyllo cups. Each student walked away with lots of prizes and gifts from farmers at the market!

Thank you again to the City of Oxford and to all our celebrity judges. It was a great 2025 season, and we can’t wait to be back for the 2026 season!

Thank you Vance Charter School for coming out and helping us cook lunch and to our first year students having to “teach” through 2 recipes! Students made a curried pumpkin soup and a pumpkin mug cake...everyone loved everything and had so much fun!! Can’t wait to have Vance back again for another lesson!!
