Mrs. Delisi’s JK class joined Ms. Fielder’s third grade this week for some pond dipping fun!

We’d like to thank Kingsbury graduate Andrew Ratliff for choosing the replacement of our boardwalk near Anne Sousanis pond as his Eagle Scout project. It looks beautiful! In true Kingsbury spirit Andrew decided to donate his extra fundraising proceeds back to our ESP program!

We enjoyed a wonderful special persons’ day today. Our grandparents and other special friends got to watch birds, build bird houses and hear their students’ bird research. They also go to see the baby goats and be amazed by our bee hive!

Congratulations to Mrs. Kathie Miller our wonderful bus driver and transportation manager. Today she was awarded at Saginaw Valley as the Employee of the Year for Transportation!

Our 6th grade students are having a great experience at Mackinaw!

Campus is a buzz, literally, with excitement as we welcome our new Bee Observation Hive to Kingsbury!

If you build it, they will come...baseball is back at Kingsbury! After more than 20 years we played our first game of baseball on our new Mecsey field! Thanks to all who made this happen: Mr. Schwartz and other volunteers who helped build our field, the Trust Board for their support, Coach Elenis for resurrecting our athletics program, including baseball, and all of the coaches and parents for their endless dedication. Take me out to the ballgame Cougars!!

What a wonderful surprise visit we had from Anne Sousanis today! Mrs. Sousanis was the original ESP teacher, the inspiration for the name of our pond, and Mr. Taylor’s ESP teacher. It was so wonderful to welcome her home!!
