Our halls were filled with smiles, excitement, laughter, and lots of happy faces today! We are so glad to have our students back and ready for another wonderful school year. 🏫✨
Thank you to our amazing families for helping make the first day such a great one. We can’t wait to see all of the learning, friendships, growth, and fun this year will bring!

Bryant families, check your inbox! We sent an important email last night with everything you need to know as we get ready for Open House and the first day of school, including important reminders for our Kindergarten families, Open House details, and a few fun surprises! 👀🎉

Your child's teacher assignment is included in the parent letter that was mailed this week, so be sure to watch your mailbox for that!

If you haven't received your parent letter by Open House and aren't sure who your child's teacher is, don't worry! We will have plenty of people at Bryant Tuesday evening who can help you.

And if you didn't receive my email, please call Mrs. Shepard in the Bryant office so we can make sure we have your current email address. We don't want you missing out on important information!

Mark your calendars and get ready for Open House, our Community Pep Rally, the first day of school, Kindergarten Orientation, and more! There’s a lot happening as we kick off the 2026–27 school year!

📚✨ **Books at Bryant Season Finale!
What an Incredible Summer!** ✨📚

Tonight was the perfect way to wrap up an unforgettable summer of **Books at Bryant**!

We are tremendously grateful for the amazing volunteers who helped us pull off the **best summer ever**.

This program was truly a labor of love, and it would not have been possible without the countless people who gave their time, talents, and hearts to our students and families.

Every week, we were able to provide:

📖 Brand new FREE books for students from birth through 8th grade
🍦 Delicious custard provided by Culver's
🔬 Take-home STEM kits
🎨 Crafts, activities, and so much more!

A very special shout-out goes to GracePointe Wesleyan Church for their incredibly generous donations of brand new backpacks filled with school supplies for every student who attended Books at Bryant tonight.

We were blown away by the incredible community partnerships that helped bring Books at Bryant to life this summer. Our community showed up week after week, and we are so thankful for everyone who helped make these evenings special.

Tonight’s finale was filled with fun, including:

🥋 Temple Tang Soo Do from the Shiawassee YMCA
📣 Owosso Middle School Cheer
🚌 Our amazing Owosso Public Schools bus drivers and Mr. Steve DeLong from the Transportation Department
👩‍🏫 All three elementary principals — Miss Flores, Mrs. Aue, and Mrs. Spielman
🌭 A delicious hot dog dinner provided by our spectacular Bryant PTO
❤️ And, of course, time spent together with the community we love so much

To every volunteer, partner, staff member, church, organization, and family who joined us this summer: ❤️❤️thank you❤️❤️

You helped create memories, build connections, and remind our students that their community believes in them!

Books at Bryant was more than a summer program! It was a celebration of reading, learning, relationships, and the power of coming together as a community!

It is ALWAYS a GREAT DAY TO BE A TROJAN!
