Located in Curwood Castle Park overlooking the Shiawassee River in downtown Owosso, the Shiawassee Arts Center offers quality arts and cultural activities that educate, entertain and enhance the quality of life for local residents and visitors. These activities include featured art exhibitions, a specialty gift shop, year-round art classes for children and adults, the Frederick C. In addition, the beautiful River Gallery and open-air terrace is available for rent.

Designed for potters with previous wheel or hand building experience, this six week series offers a chance to try new things with clay at a self-led pace. Individual development is of primary importance. Bring your tools, an apron and old towel (vinyl gloves & sandpaper on glazing day). Come experiment with clay! Includes 25 lbs. of clay, glazes and firing. Dress for mess! Evening class will follow.
10am-1pm, Tuesdays, September 15, 22, 29, October 6, 20, 27 (skip October 13).
Member $195 /Non-Member $205 (Note there is a 3% processing fee for all credit card/online purchases).
