Random fact of the Day: Your fingernails grow faster than your toenails do

Yesterday's official school attendance report is in; we reached 97.1% as a whole. Special recognition goes to the Senior Class for earning the highest attendance yesterday at 98.9%. Thank you for showing up and leading by example.

Any Freshmen that have not exchanged their Chromebook for their new one. Please come see Mrs. Guyski is in the student union. Please bring your old Chromebook and Charger to get your new one!

Auditions for the Little Mermaid will be next Week August 26th & 27th in the choir room. Students will be expected to sing one of the required songs and act out some scenes. Students who are interested in backstage should come in for the first 15 minutes. Students who want to act, go see Mr. Ciarlino or Mrs. Ingersoll for the audition information. Anyone who wants to join the drama club go to the Google Classroom code: uchrdiet

Hey freshman. Want to get involved in supporting and representing your Class of 2030? We will be having a class meeting in Room 409 on Thursday August 29th to talk about Homecoming and the float, and some ideas that our class could do throughout the year. Meeting will begin at 7:20 AM. See Ms. Shay or Ms. Pierce with any questions.

SkillsUSA will hold it first meeting Thursday 8/27 at 3pm in Mrs. Warning’s room. Anyone interested to learn about SkillsUSA should attend this informational meeting.

Work Based Learning (aka COOP) application deadline is 9/3/2026

If you are interested in work based learning, you must see Mrs. Warning and your counselor NOW.

Congratulations to Owosso’s own Ady Freeman, whose team just captured the Senior League Softball World Series National Championship in Delaware — for the SECOND SUMMER IN A ROW!

What an incredible accomplishment! We are extremely proud of Ady and excited to welcome her back home to Owosso today!

We invite our students, families, athletes, coaches, and entire Owosso community to come out and help us give Ady the championship welcome home she deserves!
