Our Sweet Ms. Candi 💗

For more than 25 years, Ms. Candi was a beloved member of the Prime Time family. To generations of children, the sound of her food cart coming down the hallway meant something special was on the menu. Whether it was , mac and cheese, one of her special recipes like meatballs & mashed potatoes or her famous lasagna she would serve to the staff. She had a gift for bringing people together through food and making everyone feel cared for.

But Ms. Candi’s greatest gift wasn’t her cooking, it was the way she cared for people, for our children. Her kindness, warm smile, gentle spirit, and love touched the lives of countless children, families, and staff members.

We are grateful for the memories, the meals, the hugs, and the love she shared with our Prime Time community. Her legacy will live on in the hearts and children of all who knew her.

Please keep her family and loved ones in your thoughts as we remember and celebrate an extraordinary woman. 👼

As we wrap up Teacher Appreciation Week, it’s only fitting that we honor the heart and soul behind it all—Ms. Brenda.

37 years ago, she took a leap of faith, leaving her job at Pepco to create something our community didn’t even know it needed—a safe, loving space for children to grow, learn, and thrive. What started as a mother’s vision for her own children has blossomed into a childcare center that has nurtured thousands of Calvert County’s children.

Ms. Brenda, your courage, dedication, and love have touched not only the lives of children, but also parents, teachers, and the entire community. You’ve built more than a business—you’ve built a legacy.

Thank you for being the reason behind it all. We are endlessly grateful.
