Today our little learners went on an exciting journey into the jungle — and along the way, they discovered that math can be so much fun! 🌿✨
Through playful, hands-on activities, the children practiced counting, sorting, recognizing patterns, comparing, and solving simple problems. 🔢🧩
Our jungle adventure turned learning into an exciting experience where the children could explore, think, discover, and learn together. 🐒🌈

The beginning of September and the new school year brought us the perfect opportunity to welcome Fall with a colorful art project! at Sunshine Over The Rainbow Family Day Care🍁
Our little artists had so much fun creating their own autumn masterpieces. They painted beautiful blue backgrounds, added colorful leaf collages, and used their little fingers to paint berries — turning simple artwork into a wonderful fall scene. 🖌️🍂🫐
Art is so much more than just making something beautiful. It helps children develop creativity, fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and confidence, while giving them the freedom to explore colors, textures, and their own imagination. ❤️

Today we celebrated our amazing Liam turning 4 years old! 🥳💙
This makes it his third birthday celebration with us, and we feel so lucky to have watched him grow into such a sweet, happy, and curious little boy.
Since Liam absolutely loves cars and especially monster trucks, we surprised him with an exciting truck-themed birthday party that made his big day extra special! 🚙🔥
Our Sunshine friends celebrated together with delicious pizza, vanilla and chocolate cupcakes, lots of laughter, and wonderful memories.

🍉🎨 Watermelon Art Day! 🎨🍉

Today our little Sunshine artists started by drawing a watermelon sketch with pencils, then brought their artwork to life with colorful paints!
It was a wonderful activity that helped develop creativity, fine motor skills, and confidence while letting each child create their own unique masterpiece.
There were a few paint-covered hands and happy smiles along the way—but that’s all part of the fun! We are so proud of our little artists and their beautiful creations. ❤️

At Sunshine Over The Rainbow Family Daycare, every day is an opportunity to learn through play! On Music class our little musicians had so much fun creating rhythms, singing songs, and exploring the joy of music together.

Nothing says summer like happy children, sunshine, and endless laughter! Our little explorers have been making the most of these beautiful summer days with exciting outdoor adventures.
From splashing in our water activities 💦 to bouncing with joy on jumping balls, running through the yard, playing games with friends, and enjoying lots of giggles, every day is filled with fun, learning, and unforgettable memories.
We believe that childhood should be full of sunshine, imagination, friendship, and active play. Watching our Sunshine kids laugh, explore, and create wonderful memories together is the greatest reward.

🎉🧪✨ WOW… What an INCREDIBLE birthday celebration we had today at Sunshine Over the Rainbow Family Daycare! ✨🧪
Our beautiful birthday girl Yeva turned 3 years old, and we celebrated in the most unforgettable way!
This wasn’t just a birthday party—it was an amazing - Energy Birthday Show where science came to life through laughter, excitement, and hands-on fun! The children were completely amazed by the interactive experiments, high-energy performance, and educational entertainment. Every smile, every laugh, and every “WOW!” made this experience truly magical.
After the spectacular show, everyone enjoyed a delicious birthday lunch followed by a beautiful birthday cake. The room was filled with happy faces, laughter, and the pure joy that only children can bring.
Seeing our Sunshine kids so excited, engaged, and having the time of their lives was the greatest gift of all. They were truly in heaven! 💛
A huge thank you to Eric Energy for creating such an unforgettable experience and helping us celebrate our sweet birthday girl in such a fun and meaningful way and Party_Lab_MD for an amazing birthday decoration.

What a wonderful day we had celebrating our amazing birthday boy! Nikolai🎉🎂💙
Our birthday celebration was filled with smiles, laughter, and unforgettable memories. The children had an incredible time dancing, playing, and celebrating together.
Our birthday boy was showered with so many thoughtful presents, and his smile said it all! We enjoyed delicious food, a special ice cream cake, and one of the children’s favorite activities—a fun tattoo station! Watching everyone proudly show off their new temporary tattoos brought even more smiles and excitement to the celebration.
The best part was seeing the joy on every child’s face. By the end of the day, everyone went home with full hearts, happy smiles, fun tattoos, and just enough exhaustion to prove how much fun they had! 😊
Thank you to our wonderful birthday family for sharing this special day with us and helping create such beautiful memories. Celebrating milestones like these together reminds us that our daycare is so much more than a place to learn—it’s a family.
