Due to anticipated extreme heat on Thursday evening, the Apollo FFA Alumni meeting will now be held at the Ag Shop of Apollo High School this Thursday evening at 6:30. The Back To School Bash has been postponed for one week.

The Apollo FFA Alumni would like to humbly thank Phillip J Page for coming to our meeting this past Thursday night and talk about the positive impacts of social media outreach and how QR Codes can be extremely beneficial for collecting donations.

Welcome back, Apollo FFA! 💙💛

As we kick off the 2026–27 school year, we want to extend the warmest welcome to our incoming freshmen and a big "welcome home" to our returning members!

To our new freshmen: stepping into high school and joining FFA is the start of an incredible chapter. Whether you’re excited about raising livestock, learning leadership skills, competing in Career Development Events, or just trying something completely new—there is a place for you here. Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone, ask questions, and jump right in. You’re about to discover talents you didn’t even know you had!

To our returning members: thank you for carrying the torch, setting the example, and making our chapter the supportive community that it is. Your energy and mentorship are what will inspire our newest members to thrive this year.

FFA is so much more than jacket colors and official dress—it’s about growing together, serving our community, and creating memories that stick with you long after graduation. Let’s make the 2026–27 school year our best one yet.

Folks, the next Apollo FFA Alumni and Supporters meeting will be held next Thursday night, August 6th at 6:30 PM in the Apollo Ag Shop. The Executive Committee will meet beforehand at 6:00.

Items of business to be discussed are our experience working the Daviess County Fair, sharing information and details regarding our new checking and savings account, fundraising ideas, and our news regarding our status with the National FFA Organization.

It’s open to any and every Alumni member, and we certainly hope to have you join us as we kick off the 2026-27 school year!

🎉 BIG NEWS, Apollo FFA Family & Supporters! 🎉

We have reached a major milestone! The Apollo FFA Alumni Association is officially fully self-sufficient! 🚜💙💛

Because of this growth, we are now officially setup to accept direct monetary donations! Every dollar raised goes right back into supporting our local FFA members—helping fund scholarships, leadership conferences, travel for competitions, and hands-on agricultural experiences.

It’s the final night of the 2026 Daviess County Lions Club Fair in Philpot! Be sure to stop by the Apollo FFA tent, located in front of the Wright Implement Arena at the Start/Finish line of the tractor pull track. There you can see Charlie and Josh Mackey and inquire about what you can do to help support the Apollo FFA Alumni and Supporters.

Be sure to stop by the Apollo FFA tent at the 2026 Daviess County Fair and speak to Alumni President Charlie Mackey and Public Relations Director Josh Mackey to learn how YOU can become a member of the strongest FFA Alumni chapter in Kentucky, as well as learning how to become a lifetime member of the National FFA Organization.

Hello everyone! Just wanted to send out a quick reminder that the next Apollo FFA Alumni meeting will be tomorrow night, Thursday July 9th, at the Apollo Ag Shop at 6:30 PM. Everyone is encouraged and invited to attend as we prepare for the new school year.
