Kentucky Wesleyan College is pleased to announce the appointment of Leigha Taylor as vice president of advancement!

Since joining KWC in 2021, Leigha has provided exceptional leadership and played a key role in advancing the College’s fundraising and engagement efforts. With more than 26 years of nonprofit and fundraising experience, she brings a wealth of knowledge, dedication and passion to her new role.

“Kentucky Wesleyan holds a special place in my heart—not only professionally, but personally,” Leigha shared. “I look forward to working alongside so many passionate individuals to tell our story, elevate our impact and ensure a vibrant future for this institution we care so deeply about.”

For one week, our admissions counselors, financial aid team, registrar, faculty, and coaches are setting aside time to meet with OCU students one-on-one. Bring your transcript and your most recent aid letter, and we'll show you what transferring to KWC would actually look like.

We're matching OCU institutional aid up to $25,000. No application fee. Most students will leave their appointment with a preliminary credit evaluation, admissions decision, and a financial aid estimate the same day.

Kentucky Wesleyan College warmly invites alumni, friends, and members of the community to celebrate the release of Heritage of Hymns, a new album by Dr. Diane Earle, Professor Emerita of Music and principal pianist of the Owensboro Symphony Orchestra.
Guests will enjoy hors d'oeuvres, listen to selections from the album, and experience live performances by Diane.

Congratulations to Brent Holsclaw '93 on being named the new head football coach at Ohio County High School. Brett previously served as football coach here at Kentucky Wesleyan College and has made a lasting impact on countless student-athletes throughout his career.

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the courageous men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. We reflect on their sacrifice, celebrate their bravery, and remember the legacy they leave behind.
