💙💛 More Than Mismatched Socks 💛💙

Yesterday at Grace Christian Academy, our hallways were filled with bright colors, crazy patterns, and a whole lot of joy. From students to faculty to board members, we proudly wore mismatched socks in support of World Down Syndrome Day.

But this day was about so much more than socks.

It was about celebrating life.
It was about seeing value in every person.
It was about reminding our students that every single life is created with purpose, on purpose.

We were especially honored to learn from Laken’s story, a beautiful reminder that even in moments of uncertainty, God is still writing something greater. Her life reflects truth we want every student at GCA to carry with them:

You are known. You are loved. You are fearfully and wonderfully made.

At GCA, we don’t just teach academics.
We shape hearts.
We build compassion.
We point students to truth.

And yesterday was a powerful picture of that mission in action.

Our Grace Christian Academy 4th grade class had an incredible learning experience on their field trip to Frankfort on Friday, March 6. Students toured Frankfort and had the opportunity to meet with Representative Suzanne Miles and Representative DJ Johnson, who graciously took time to talk with our students about leadership, public service, and how government works.

Experiences like this bring classroom lessons to life and help our students see how they can make a difference in their communities.

The gym was full of Lion pride this week as GCA celebrated our winter sports teams.

Our archery, cheerleading, and basketball teams were recognized for the hard work and dedication they bring while representing Grace Christian Academy.
