📚🦁 A few nervous smiles, plenty of excitement, and the beginning of another great year at Grace Christian Academy.

We loved seeing our students back on campus and are so thankful for every family who has trusted GCA to be part of their child’s story. We are praying for a year filled with growth, joy, meaningful relationships, and countless moments that point our students toward Christ.

Since our very first semester, Yellow Creek Baptist Church has graciously welcomed Grace Christian Academy onto their campus. We are deeply grateful for our time at the church, and for the time still to come. This partnership has been a blessing in our mission to glorify God by equipping students with a spiritually and academically solid Christian worldview. But as we've grown, we need even more space.

Today, we have an announcment.

This afternoon, GCA took possession of our future home. We have officially closed on the building at 5620 Old Highway 54, which will become our 19,000 square foot campus. In its first phase alone, this new campus will allow us to welcome an additional 120 students.

With zoning approval, construction on the remodel will begin, and we will soon announce a full timeline along with details for a special groundbreaking ceremony. We can't wait to celebrate with you.

So many people carried us to this moment. To our families, our faculty and staff, the GCA board, Yellow Creek Baptist Church and the donors who believe in this mission: thank you. This milestone belongs to all of you.

Test scores are not the mission, but they can be a beautiful reflection of it.

At Grace Christian Academy, our mission is to glorify God by equipping students with a spiritually and academically solid Christian worldview. Our latest MAP results give us so much to be thankful for:

89% of our students are above grade level in reading.
82% are above grade level in math.
86% increased their reading scores.
96% increased their math scores.

We are proud of our students and deeply grateful for our teachers and families. And we are thankful for the way God continues to bless the work happening at Grace.

These numbers represent more than academic progress.

To God be the glory for every step forward.

We have so much to be thankful for at Grace Christian Academy.

Our latest MAP results show that 89% of our students are above grade level in reading and 82% are above grade level in math. Even more encouraging, 86% increased their reading scores and 96% increased their math scores.

We are proud of our students, grateful for our teachers, thankful for the support of our families, and most of all, thankful for God’s continued faithfulness to our school.

💙💛 More Than Mismatched Socks 💛💙

Yesterday at Grace Christian Academy, our hallways were filled with bright colors, crazy patterns, and a whole lot of joy. From students to faculty to board members, we proudly wore mismatched socks in support of World Down Syndrome Day.

But this day was about so much more than socks.

It was about celebrating life.
It was about seeing value in every person.
It was about reminding our students that every single life is created with purpose, on purpose.

We were especially honored to learn from Laken’s story, a beautiful reminder that even in moments of uncertainty, God is still writing something greater. Her life reflects truth we want every student at GCA to carry with them:

You are known. You are loved. You are fearfully and wonderfully made.

At GCA, we don’t just teach academics.
We shape hearts.
We build compassion.
We point students to truth.

And yesterday was a powerful picture of that mission in action.

Our Grace Christian Academy 4th grade class had an incredible learning experience on their field trip to Frankfort on Friday, March 6. Students toured Frankfort and had the opportunity to meet with Representative Suzanne Miles and Representative DJ Johnson, who graciously took time to talk with our students about leadership, public service, and how government works.

Experiences like this bring classroom lessons to life and help our students see how they can make a difference in their communities.

The gym was full of Lion pride this week as GCA celebrated our winter sports teams.

Our archery, cheerleading, and basketball teams were recognized for the hard work and dedication they bring while representing Grace Christian Academy.
