The Owensboro Police Department and Owensboro Fire Department will be conducting collaborative critical incident training exercises at OHS from June 15–26, with activities beginning around 8:00 a.m. daily.

The building will be closed to everyone except those participating in the training exercises.

You should expect to see multiple police and fire vehicles on campus and may hear or observe activity associated with active shooter and critical incident response training. This is only a training exercise and no cause for alarm.

Advanced Orthopedics will host a FREE clinic for sports physicals on Thursday, June 18 in the Owensboro High School gym from 4-7 p.m.

The sports physicals are free and will set you up for the 2026-27 school year. Students must be accompanied by an adult for this event.

OMS volleyball will be hosting open gym times on Tuesday-Thursday June 9th-11th from 9-11 a.m. each day.

This is for any incoming 6th-8th grade girl. Drop off and pick up at back gym doors closest to the track!
