FALL FESTIVAL IS ONLY 2 WEEKS AWAY!

We’re getting ready for the fun night, and we need our Hornet families’ help! 💙🐝💛

🎯 GAME PRIZE DONATIONS
We are asking families to donate game prize items for this year’s festival! Students can drop donations off to the Candy Monster as soon as they walk through the front entrance in the morning. Please label all donations with your grade level.

🙋 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
Our Fall Festival volunteer sign-up is officially LIVE! We need help the day before and the day of the event to help everything come together, including a clean up crew for after the event!

🎉🐝 Volunteer of the Month! 🐝🎉

We are so happy to recognize one of our veteran volunteers and Fundraising Coordinator board member, Shauna Hayes, as our first and very deserving Volunteer of the Month!

Shauna worked all summer lining up our upcoming Dine with the Hive events and helped get our Business Banner Fundraiser started and wrapped up before the school year even began! Shauna is always willing to jump in and help wherever she’s needed, and we are so lucky to have her on our PTO team. Thank you, Shauna, for all of the time and energy you give to Highland! 💙

Our Discount Card Fundraiser has officially come to an end, and we are absolutely blown away by the support from our Highland families! 🐝

We’ll share our official fundraising total at our next general PTO meeting in October, but we can already tell you—we think our Hornets did even better than last year! 🎉 We are so grateful to every student and family who sold cards, purchased cards, and helped make this fundraiser such a success.

We also had 23 students sell 10 or more cards and earn an entry into our prize basket drawing! 🙌 Our winner was drawn today, and a BIG congratulations to Blakely on taking home the prize basket! 🎁

Thank you again, Highland families, for always showing up and supporting our school. We appreciate you more than you know!

📣 DISCOUNT CARD REMINDER!

All discount card envelopes are due TOMORROW MORNING!

We already have around 10 Highland Hornets who have sold 10+ cards and earned their spot in the drawing for our awesome prize basket! 🎉 One lucky student will be chosen tomorrow and will head home with the entire prize basket tomorrow afternoon! 👏

We can’t wait to see who wins!

A HUGE thank you to our Highland families for all of the support throughout this fundraiser. Our Hornets have been knocking it out of the park, and we appreciate every card sold! 🐝💙

🍂 Fall Festival is ONLY 3 Weeks Away! 🎟️

Prepay tickets are officially available starting TODAY! Purchase yours ahead of time and get ready for what's sure to be one of the best Highland nights of the year! This year’s Fall Festival will be packed with fun, including nostalgic carnival style games, inflatables, face painting, putt-putt golf, a balloon artist, a water bucket where students can dump water on our administrators, food, and MORE!

🎟️ Admission Ticket: $5
Everyone ages 2 and older must have a ticket for admission.

🍔 Admission + Meal: $10
Includes admission plus your choice of a hamburger or hot dog, chips, and a drink to enjoy during the event!

🐝 THE NUMBERS ARE IN!🍦💙💛

Highland families, you really showed up for our first Dine with the Hive of the year! Thanks to your support, we raised $377—an amazing way to kick off the year and start working toward our Dine with the Hive fundraising goal!

A huge thank you to Mrs. Fuqua, Mrs. Rummage, Mrs. Dailey, Mrs. Tennant, and Mrs. Rumage for stopping by to visit with our families! We LOVE having our teachers join us—those special appearances make these events so much more fun for our Hornets! 💛 And of course an extra BIG thank you to Toad Hop Creamery ! We are so thankful for a supportive community!

🍂 HELP US MAKE OUR FALL FESTIVAL SILENT AUCTION A HUGE SUCCESS! 🍂

We’re still collecting donations for our Fall Festival Silent Auction now through Thursday, September 3rd!

We’re asking our Highland families, local businesses, shops, restaurants, and community friends to help us fill our auction with amazing items! Gift cards, merchandise, services, experiences, themed baskets, or any other donations would be greatly appreciated.

💙 This year, we currently do not have a Donations Coordinator, which means we truly need ALL HANDS ON DECK! If you own a business, work for a company that may be willing to donate, or have a connection to a local business, we would love for you to help us reach out and collect donations.

All donations can be dropped off at the Highland front office by Thursday, September 3rd.

The bigger we can make our auction, the more we can raise to support our students, teachers, and school throughout the year. It takes a whole Hive—and this is one of those times when we need everyone working together! 🐝
