Our Westward expansion unit coincided with the Christmas holiday season so we decided to get a tree like they might have done in the 1800's. Students really enjoyed this outdoor experience. 🎄

On November 12, 2025, the sky will set itself on fire — slowly, silently, beautifully.
It’s the Taurid Meteor Shower, and it’s not like the others.
These meteors don’t flash and vanish…
They glide. They glow.
They give you time to make a wish — or just sit in awe.

✨ Find a quiet spot.
Put your phone down.
Look up — and let the sky remind you what wonder feels like.

It was a perfect day to start our weather unit in Outdoor Classroom!! We love when the weather cooperates with our plans. We not only experienced walking in the rain and puddle stomping but we also got to touch hail stones. Students got a safety lesson in how to take cover when hail forms and to never walk in the rain during thunder and lightning. We will continue our weather and safety lessons this coming week.

SCHOOL YEAR 2025-2026 WAS OFF TO AN EXTEMELY HOT START BUT WE DID GET TO ENJOY OUTDOOR CLASS FOR A FEW DAYS. COOLER WEATHER IS ON THE WAY!
