Owego Elementary School PTO Joining the PTO is a great way to become familiar with the school and participate in your school’s community. There is no fee to join the PTO.

The Owego Parent Teacher Organization is a collaborative volunteer community of parents, teachers, and staff working together to support our students and enrich the educational experience for every child at Owego Elementary School. Children know school is important when they see you become involved.

🚨VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY 🚨

We are looking for 12 volunteers to help run lawn games during Field Days on June 16, 2026! We truly appreciate parents and guardians who are willing to donate their time to help make this a fun and memorable day for our students. Volunteer slots are on a first come, first serve basis and will close when we have reached capacity.

Before signing up, please keep the following in mind:

• Full-Day Commitment:
To help the day run smoothly, volunteers are needed for the entire event from 8-2pm. If you're unable to stay for the full day, we kindly ask that you leave these spots available for those who can.

• Outdoor Event:
Volunteers will be stationed outside throughout the event assisting with games and activities. For the safety and security of all students, access to the school building will be limited. There will be no access to classrooms during the event.

• Student-Focused Event:
To ensure everyone's safety and allow volunteers to focus on their assigned activities, we ask that younger and older siblings make other arrangements for the day.
