Gibbon High School Class of '65

Water Action Day hosted over 500 Minnesotans at the MN State Capitol. Most attendees visited with their Representatives and Senators to promote the many forms of clean water. A rally in the MN Capitol Rotunda at 2:00 pm was also well attended.

Nine Owatonnans including Owatonna Ikes and Canon River Watershed folks attended Water Day at the Capitol. The Austin Ikes hosted the bus. It was a shortened day due to the weather. We did get to visit with Representative John Petersburg, but not Senator John Jasinski. The bus ride home was slow and we did have to detour onto County Road 45 since 35 was closed between Faribault and Medford. We got back safely!

Merry Christmas Class of '65!

This past June and Sept., Gary Schwartz caught some big fish. See below. We were at Whaley's Resort, now owned and run by former Gibbon residents, Matt and Nate Louwagie.

Happy New Year a bit late to the class of '65. We have just survived a 12" blizzard.

Gary and Cherry Schwartz have lived in Owatonna, MN, since 1972 and both are retired teachers in the Owatonna Public
Schools - Gary in 2009, Cherry in 2011. We have two sons; Jason is 33 and lives just north of us in Clinton Falls (by Cabelas) and Jonathan is 30 and lives in a suburb of Los Angeles.
