STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Arts Math) Camp Day 3 ✔️
The Works Museum was the destination on Wednesday for a hands-on museum experience and a workshop where students engineered a maze game they were able to bring home.
Then, of course, they had to stop and eat lunch at the beautiful Moir Park in Bloomington before heading home!

STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Arts Math) Camp Day 2! ✔
Students were busy on Tuesday! They started off at Morehouse Park where students collected pond water and identified organisms, completed their own nature scene painting, and hiked complete with a scavenger hunt.
The afternoon consisted of three rotations involving an engineering egg drop challenge, edible DNA, and examining the collected pond water through microscopes. 💦🔬

Monday marked the start of STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Arts Math) Camp! Students kicked off the day with nature-themed get-to-know-you activities and a nature walk, where they made observations and shared their wonders about the world around them.
Then, the learning went indoors for a bridge-engineering challenge. Students were given specific design parameters and a budget to work within as they planned and built their bridges through the scientific process.
The winning bridge held an impressive 14 pounds before reaching its limit! 🌉🤩
