🏀 BIG THINGS AHEAD FOR OUR LADY LIONS!

I’m so excited for this group of girls and what we’re building at Owasso Prep! This season will bring some great competition, new challenges, and even a tournament trip to the DFW area!

I can’t wait to watch these girls compete, grow, and continue building the identity of OPA Basketball.

Build. Compete. Grow. 💙🦁

🚨 Player to Watch: Jayla Spencer 🚨

Jayla Spencer is a name to know heading into the CP3 Rising Stars Camp.

The 2030 guard from Owasso Preparatory Academy brings a high basketball IQ, plays with great pace, and consistently makes winning plays. She can stretch the floor with her perimeter shooting, creates for teammates, and competes on both ends of the court

OPA is proud of you, Tysen! Well-deserved words of praise from Coach McLemore:

“Congratulations to Tysen Jenkins on being invited to the 2026 CP3 Rising Stars National Camp in Winston-Salem, North Carolina!

Tysen will have the opportunity to compete, learn, and represent Owasso Preparatory Academy on a national stage alongside talented players from across the country.

Go represent Owasso Prep with confidence, character, and excellence” Coach McLemore

Miss Spencer is a true floor general at heart. 🏀🔥

From the opening moments of the game, she made sure everyone knew exactly who she was and what she brought to the floor. Watching her development over the last two years has been remarkable, as her confidence, creativity, and leadership continue to grow.

Her floor presence stood out through constant communication, high energy, and the ability to keep teammates organized and engaged. Add in her solid defensive play, and it’s easy to see why she’ll be a strong contributor once she reaches the high school level.

Jayla is also a repeat Super16 All-Star, which says a lot about the consistency of her game and the respect she’s earned over time. Some players just naturally control the tempo of a game, and Jayla definitely fits that mold.
