Her floor presence stood out through constant communication, high energy, and the ability to keep teammates organized and engaged. Add in her solid defensive play, and it’s easy to see why she’ll be a strong contributor once she reaches the high school level.

Jayla is also a repeat Super16 All-Star, which says a lot about the consistency of her game and the respect she’s earned over time. Some players just naturally control the tempo of a game, and Jayla definitely fits that mold.

Congratulations to our Varsity Girls Basketball team for finishing 2nd in the Heartland Christian Athletic Association (HCAA) State Tournament!

This young team showed incredible growth throughout the season and competed with heart every single game. I am beyond proud of their grit, resilience, and character. They embraced a tough schedule, welcomed the challenge, and continued to improve each time they stepped on the floor. Most importantly, they represented our school with class, toughness, and unity.

As it says in Philippians 1:6, “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” The Lord is clearly working in and through this group — and the future is bright.

So proud of these girls. This is only the beginning. 💙🏀
