We received this sweet message from Owassoisms reader Shylah Cross this morning, and she asked us to share it. We’re happy to oblige!

“Good morning, Owasso! 💙 I just wanted to give a HUGE shout-out to my son’s school, Larkin Bailey Elementary, and especially their Assistant Principal, Mr. Stitt!

During the storm this morning, Mr. Stitt was out there barefoot, with his pants rolled up, and ready to do whatever it took to make sure our kids were safe getting across the crosswalk and into the school.

That is the kind of dedication and love for our kids that deserves to be recognized! ❤️

I can never say enough good things about this wonderful man. My son absolutely loves him, and so do so many of the kids.

Thank you, Mr. Stitt, for always going the extra mile and putting our children’s safety first. We are so thankful for you! 🥰

Start the year with a special, encouraging note for your Bailey student!

We can’t believe we will be back in school in only 2 weeks! BBC will be doing something a little new for the 1st day of school and we are so excited! Pencil grams will be available at kinder night on 8/5, meet the teacher on 8/11, and the morning of the 1st day 8/13! $1 each or sponsor an entire class for $20! AND… peep the online payment option this year! 🤩
We look forward to seeing all of the shining faces of Bailey Elementary soon!

It won’t be long before our students and teachers are standing under the newest additions to our playground!

Yay for SHADE! If you haven’t had a chance to see it yet, let me introduce you to the newest addition to the Bailey Elementary playground! We worked together to provide this amazing shade, benches, and table for our amazing Bailey students and staff, and we are so thankful to each and every one of you!

Happy Summer, Bailey Families!

As the new school year approaches, more and more information will be rolling out. Please continue checking our district website at owassops.org, our Larkin Bailey Elementary page, and your email messages.
To get us started, if you are NOT the parent or guardian of a Kindergarten student, please disregard this particular message.

If you ARE the parent or guardian of a Kindergarten student, please join us Wednesday, August 5th at 5:00pm for our Sweet Start meeting. You and your student will have the opportunity to meet the Kindergarten team, hear information specific to Kindergarten, and drop off supplies.

Finally, if you have a student in PreK, or 1st-5th, please plan to join us at the district-wide Meet the Teacher on Tuesday, August 11th. We will send more information and reminders as we get closer.
