2. They’re starting to recognize the letters in their name, even if they’re not reading just yet.
3. They’re showing care and responsibility at home. This could include things like helping pack a bag, feeding a pet, putting away toys, or getting through part of their routine with a little more ease.

Every child grows at their own pace - and readiness looks different for every family. Their preschool teachers can are a great partner in noticing strengths, celebrating progress, and helping you think through what comes next.

I’d like to take a minute to say thank you to MY teachers who keep showing up.

Thank you for clocking in when it feels like the world wants to clock out. When the days are LONG, the work is HARD, and it doesn’t always feel like what you do is seen.

Thank you for pouring your hearts into children who need you. For loving them, teaching them, comforting them, and giving them your best…even on the days when you have nothing left to give.

I know there are times you’re taking care of someone else’s child while missing moments with your own. That’s a sacrifice not everyone sees, but it’s one that matters.

Childcare isn’t easy. It’s not glamorous. But it’s one of the most important jobs there is. We help kids meet milestones, parents go back to work, your there for some of their firsts, and moment in between.

To every teacher who walks through those doors each morning… thank you. Our children are better because of you, and our families couldn’t do what they do without you.

I love what you pour into Goddard just as much as what the children love what you pour into them.
