Super Senior Spotlight - Zachary Thompson
Graduating with 14 Years of Dance Experience
- Zachary’s Words of Wisdom for the Next Generation of Dancers -
To the younger dancers coming up behind me — never let fear, doubt or laziness stop you from chasing what you love. There will be long practices, tough corrections, and moments where you question yourself, but those are the moments that shape you the most. Stay humble, work harder than anyone expects, and always support the people dancing beside you. Talent may open doors, but dedication, respect, and passion are what keep you moving forward. Most importantly, enjoy every second and laugh through it all because the years fly by faster than you think.
Break a leg,
Zach

Senior Spotlight - Haleigh Curtis
Graduating with 14 Years of Dance Experience
- Haleigh’s Words of Wisdom for the Next Generation of Dancers -
Live in the moment and don’t be afraid to try new things. It’s okay to mess up. I know it’s hard and you will doubt yourself at times, but perfection is impossible to reach…it took me a long time to realize that. As long as you try your best, love what you do, and practice practice practice, that is enough!!
Take care of your body!! Dance is one of the hardest sports physically and mentally. STRETCH and continue to stretch after your dancing career ends. Lift weights! It’s not everyone’s thing, and certainly isn’t mine, but it helps so much!! Please eat, stay hydrated, get plenty of rest, and recover!! Get those massages, ice baths, chiropractor adjustments, etc…it’s so worth it!!
Most of all, have fun and enjoy the memories you will cherish forever. These teammates turn into friends and those friends turn to family. It goes by fast, so take every moment in.
Relevé all day!!
With love,
H
