For many years, it has been a District goal to create an elementary art program here in Owasso Public Schools. Thanks to the Owasso community's support of the 2025 Student Investment Plan, we're just days away from that goal becoming a reality! 🎨🖌

Here's a sneak peek inside the new art room at Stone Canyon Elementary! This summer, school bond funds were used to convert existing classrooms into dedicated art spaces at each of our elementary schools and equip them with new furniture designed to support creativity and hands-on learning.

Thank you for investing in Owasso students and helping turn this long-held vision into reality. We can't wait to see the creativity these spaces inspire!

Shoutout to Owasso Child Nutrition for their work to create a fun and engaging environment for families during the Summer Meal program! The results speak for themselves as more than 21,100 free meals were served to community members this summer, which is nearly double the number of meals distributed from a year ago.

Over the past two days, we had the privilege of welcoming our newest teachers to Owasso Public Schools during New Teacher Orientation. From learning about our District to building connections with colleagues, these educators are preparing for an incredible year of serving our students.

A special thank you to the Pride of Owasso drumline for getting us pumped up as teachers arrived on Monday. We are also incredibly grateful to Fieldhouse Apparel for generously donating 'Ram Pride' shirts to each of our new teachers. Your support helped make them feel like part of the Ram Family from day one!

We're excited to see the impact these outstanding educators will have in our classrooms this year. Welcome to OPS, and here's to a great school year!
