Oviedo High School is in the process of sprucing up our auditorium, with improvements planned to enhance for all our school-wide events. We are incredibly grateful to the Class of 2026 for announcing their generous donation toward this school project at graduation. In addition, contributions from SGA and the Night of Impact have helped us reach an impressive $50,000 in total donations so far.
We are now seeking additional support to complete the renovation, which will include updated sound, lighting, and a new stage curtain. OHS is not scheduled for a full renovation anytime soon, so these upgrades are essential to improving our current shared space.
All funds collected will be placed in a dedicated account and used exclusively for this auditorium project. Any amount is appreciated.
Thank you for your continued support of Oviedo High School! And as always, GO LIONS!

After securing all three SCPS nominations to the Regeneron International Science & Engineering Fair, all three students earned grand awards on the global stage. Competing against nearly 1800 of the brightest young scientists across the world, Ankan Das, Angela Calvo-Chumbimuni, and Moitri Santra each placed among the top in the world in their categories. Ankan won 4th place in Engineering Technology: Statics & Dynamics for his novel tensegrity robot capable of transforming search and rescue missions and planetary exploration. Angela won 4th place in Biochemistry for her work developing a combinatory sensor/biosensor for detecting brain biomarkers in dysregulation from those suffering from mental health disorders. Moitri won 1st place in Plant Sciences for her work developing a nanotechnology delivery system for treating and preventing citrus greening disease, which has caused billions of dollars in damages annually to Florida's orange crops. Furthermore, she was chosen as one of the top award winners (top 14 overall in the entire competition) and will represent ISEF at the E.U. Contest for Young Scientists in Kiel, Germany in the fall. Combined, the three earned a combined $9200 in prizes and an all-expense paid trip to Germany. They also represent the first time SCPS has had a 1st place and top award winner and the first time Oviedo has had all three ISEF representatives earn awards since at least 2010. Congratulations to these fantastic young scientists who are making a substantial difference in our world and representing Oviedo and SCPS so incredibly well! Go Lions!
