🏈 MUSTANG FOOTBALL IS BACK! 🏈

A big thank you to The Henderson News for featuring the Overton Mustangs in its 2026 football preview!

There is a lot of tradition represented in these pages. From Overton’s playoff history dating all the way back to 1937, to the young men who will take the field this season carrying that tradition forward, we are proud of our Mustangs and excited about the year ahead.

Thank you to Coach Scotty Laymance, his coaching staff, our players, families, and everyone who supports Mustang Athletics.

The 2026 season kicks off Thursday night at Harleton. We hope to see plenty of GREEN & WHITE in the stands!
