🌟 Welcome Back, Mariners! 🌟

The first day of school is Monday, August 10th! 🎉 The gates will open at 7:10 a.m., and the first bell will ring at 7:28 a.m.

We are so excited to welcome everyone back for what is sure to be an incredible school year! This year, we’re taking it to the next level! 🚀

Middle school is an exciting time filled with curiosity, discovery, growth, new friendships, and new opportunities. We can’t wait to see our students back on campus, ready to learn, explore, and make amazing memories.

Join us for an Open House on Thursday, August 6, from
11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Families are invited to:

Walk around the campus.
Visit classrooms and meet teachers. Teachers will be in their classrooms after 12:00 p.m.

Pay school fees and purchase P.E. clothes in the Library.
To avoid long lines, school fees may also be paid online at lyonms.org.

Optional Grade-Level Presentations
If you would like to attend a grade-level presentation, they will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

6th Grade: Auditorium
7th Grade: Cafeteria
8th Grade: Gymnasium

We look forward to welcoming our Lyon Middle School families and helping you get ready for a great school year. We can't wait to see you on August 6th.

If you have not completed your online registration, please do so by the end of this week. We will be mailing schedules to students who have completed their online registration and are up to date on their 7th grade vaccinations.

We will also be hosting an Open House on Thursday, August 6th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

LYON MS ATHLETICS
The Athletic Office will be closed beginning June 18th.

Please complete Aktivate registration ASAP, especially: Transfer students, incoming 6th graders, homeschool students, new Lyon students.

I return July 22nd, less than 3 weeks before fall tryouts.
Students must have a current physical + completed Aktivate registration to try out.

Transfer students must also be district approved before competing (1–3 weeks processing time). Do not wait until July/August.
