Today we had our very last rehearsal with our senior class. 😢

I cannot thank these girls enough for all of the time, energy, laughs, and love they have brought to class everyday the last four years. We will miss you!!

Yesterday, we had a great day at District Music Contest. Results are below!

TONIGHT, you have a chance to hear all of the soloists and the small groups at 6:30 in the music room. On April 30th, you can hear the choir's performance at our spring concert!

It’s a good day to be a 3rd or a 4th grader!

These students have been working super hard since January to play the recorder. Each student had to come up to me all by themself, play Hot Cross Buns (3rd) or Amazing Grace (4th), read an 8-12 bar rhythm, and then do a note naming activity. Each student in these classes got an A on their playing test, and earned hot cross buns. So proud of these kids!!

We had a great day at FKC Music Contest today! These kids have been coming in for 7 am rehearsals to work on solo/small group music to try and earn their choir letter. They will perform again at District Music Contest on April 22nd, and Solo/Small Ensemble Night on April 23rd. Congrats!!

It's so cool when we get to collaborate with other classes! Cameron, who is in Mr. Matthews's Video Production class, was asked to create an ad. Cameron decided to use our Krispy Kreme fundraiser for this project. Thanks for sharing with us, Cameron!
