💕 Little Dolls, BIG Learning! 🧸

Did you know that playing with baby dolls is so much more than “just pretend”?

When children feed, rock, dress, cuddle, and care for their baby dolls, they are building real-life skills through play! 👶✨

🧠 Cognitive Development: Children practice sequencing and problem-solving as they figure out what their “baby” needs.

💗 Social-Emotional Skills: Doll play encourages empathy, nurturing, compassion, and understanding of emotions.

🗣️ Language Development: Children naturally talk to their dolls, practice conversations, and expand their vocabulary.

🤲 Fine Motor Skills: Dressing, feeding, brushing hair, and fastening clothes help strengthen little hands and fingers.

🌟 Confidence & Independence: Pretending to be the caregiver gives children opportunities to make decisions and feel capable.

At O2B Kids, we know that play is learning! When children are given opportunities to engage in meaningful pretend play, they are developing skills that will support them far beyond the classroom. 💕

We packed so much into our Teacher Work Day! From valuable training and reviewing important expectations to collaborating, planning, and making sure we’re ready to give our students the very best experience. 📚💛

And now… the classrooms are READY! 🧹🖍️📚 Our teachers have been busy organizing, decorating, preparing materials, and creating welcoming spaces where our students can learn, grow, play, and make memories.

We are officially counting down to MONDAY—the first day of school! 🎉🍎

Our Sophomores are proving that big learning can happen in the littlest moments! 💛

Circle time is so much more than sitting on the rug—it's where friendships begin, confidence grows, and curious minds come alive. From singing songs and reading stories to practicing listening, taking turns, and sharing ideas, our toddlers are building skills they'll use for years to come.
