Gracious God,
As another school year comes to a close, we thank you for your guiding hand throughout the year. Watch over our teachers and staff, that they may find rest and refreshment. Please keep our students and their families safe during their travels and summer activities. Give our graduates a special measure of grace as a new chapter unfolds in their life. In all we do, guide our hearts to know the rest and refreshment we need most is already ours in Jesus' saving work for us. Amen.

Today was Graduation Day for our preschoolers moving on to kindergarten and eighth grade students! It's alway a bitter sweet moment when you are sadly leaving the school you love, but excitedly moving on to kindergarten and high school. Thankful we were reminded that we are anchored to Christ and need not fear. He is with us always! Congratulations!

Today we celebrated Mrs. Engleman as she prepares to begin a new journey next year. We are so thankful for her dedication to students through her teaching of PE, math, and science. Her kindness, encouragement, and commitment have made a lasting impact on so many lives. We wish her God’s many blessings in this next chapter and pray for joy and happiness in all that lies ahead!

Our last Mystery Reader of the school year was Mr. Proctor, and he ended the year with lots of laughs and smiles! He read “Benny’s Bad Day,” bringing the story to life for the kids, and then shared some hilarious jokes that had everyone giggling. The classroom was filled with fun, laughter, and excitement! What a perfect way to wrap up our Mystery Reader adventures!

Today Grades 5-8 enjoyed a beautiful walk to Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream for some very tasty treats!🍦

Today we thanked Mrs. Gini Peda for serving at Mt. Olive for so many years. It will not be the same without her!🥺🥰

Today we would like to highlight some amazing staff members we are blessed to have at Mt. Olive. Our five classroom aides enhance education in our classrooms by providing individualized student attention, managing behavior, and reducing teacher workload, which leads to improved student engagement, better academic outcomes, and a calmer, more inclusive learning environment.
