JCCC School of Cosmetology, Esthetics & Nail Technology Welcome to Johnson County Community College School of Cosmetology's official page!

The Cosmetology Program was established with the intent of providing a career program to the community and to the college in the fields of Cosmetology, Esthetics, Nail Technology and Instructor Training Program. Not only do we provide services to the public at a more than reasonable rate we provide a hands on learning experience for our students. The students provide services that surrounding salons offer in addition to what the Kansas State Board of Cosmetology requires. The curriculum prepares the student for taking the Kansas Board of Cosmetology exams in both theory and practical application.

In response to the stay-at-home order issued by the Johnson County government, JCCC has modified its operations and moved all coursework online for the remainder of the spring semester. All in-person events are cancelled.

The Cosmetology Department student salon is closed for the remainder of the spring semester and staff will not be in the salon to schedule future appointments. Cosmetology Department Information Sessions have also been canceled.

We appreciate your patience and understanding. We hope to see our students and clients again soon. Stay well and take care

In order to help minimize the spread of COVID-19 and to protect our campus community, Johnson County Community College will be closed beginning March 14 until April 6. The Cosmetology Department will not be taking or scheduling appointments during this time.

JCCC will continue to monitor this situation and the Cosmetology School Salon hopes to return to our normal operating hours as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

JCCC is closed Wednesday, Feb. 5 in honor of the Chiefs Super Bowl victory. The Cosmetology Department information session scheduled for Feb. 5 is canceled. Our next information session is Wednesday, March 4 at 6 p.m.
