The application for Blue Valley Schools’ Chinese Immersion program is now open through Monday, March 23.

The program for incoming kindergarten students broadens horizons, enhances cognitive skills and teaches second language skills. Selection is based on a random lottery, with no preference for early/late submissions. Siblings of current immersion students will have preference, regardless of home school.

The LAST FLASH class of the year is coming up at the beginning of April! FLASH stands for Fun Learning After School Hours! This year all FLASH catalogs are posted for the entire school year. Our next FLASH date is April 3!! The sessions run from 4-8 with pick up beginning at 7:30. There are tons of fun options to choose from. If you are interested in our April session, please sign your child up by March 27. Our FLASH night in January completely SOLD OUT so please sign up before a class fills. It is $50 for one child. If you want to send multiple children to FLASH, it will be $50 for the first child and $35 for every subsequent child after that. The money goes towards dinner, snacks, a drink, and an evening of fun activities! To sign up please visit the PTO website:

Save the date: Blue Valley Schools’ 2026 Summer Explorations enrollment opens Tuesday, March 25 at 8:00 a.m.

Explore engaging summer learning opportunities for your child! The program offers a wide range of one-week, hands-on experiences for students entering first through eighth grade in the fall. All summer programs will be held in person unless otherwise noted.

One more reminder about attendance reporting! You can report any late (students should be in their classrooms by 8:40 am when the bell rings), early departures, or student absences, as well as changes in the way students are leaving at the end of the day (please make these prior to 3pm)! We have to account for every student every day so we appreciate your help!!!

Last call for yearbook photos! We are looking for a few more photos for our "Marksmen on the Move" section. Send in photos from team sports, cheer/dance clinics, football games, clubs like boy scouts and girls scouts. Deadline is March 4th. Thank you!
