We are close to a big milestone. SecKC is raising money for Hope House, a Kansas City nonprofit dedicated to breaking the cycle of domestic violence, and we are nearly at our goal. Missouri tax filers who donate more than $100 may also qualify for a 70 percent tax credit for domestic violence shelters.

Summer kicks off with SecKC on June 9 at Knuckleheads Garage in Kansas City.

The format: 7 talks, two rounds, 30 minutes each, with every speaker presenting twice so you never miss the ones you want. Live tattoos on site, and a fundraiser benefiting Hope House, a local nonprofit focused on ending domestic violence.

Aaron made a deal to benefit Hope House. If we hit $5,000 total across two campaigns, he is getting a dickbutt tattooed on his rear, live on stage at our June SecKC meetup. Each cheek has its own $2,500 goal and both are still short. Yes it is real. Yes it will be documented. Yes your donation is what makes it happen.
