The Blue Valley Southwest Band Program is seeking a Color Guard Instructor to join our team.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of one of the premier band programs in Kansas, where our Guard was recognized as the top 5A Color Guard at the Kansas Bandmasters Association Class Championships in 2026. At BVSW, we pride ourselves on a culture of artistic excellence built through a deep commitment to student growth, high expectations, and a strong sense of community.

This is a part-time position with both stipend and hourly opportunities, which may include summer camps, rehearsals during the school year, competitions, Winter Guard, and middle school spin club.

We are seeking an educator with a strong command of guard and dance fundamentals who thrives in a collaborative environment and brings energy, positivity, and passion for the marching arts. If you know someone who would be a great fit, please share this post or reach out for more information.
