Kansas City Metropolitan School of the Arts MSAKC currently offers an online/virtual program for grades 7-12. MSAKC will open in Aug 2024

MSAKC will be a 7-year private school of choice in the metropolitan Kansas City. The goal is to provide students with a rigorous academic environment, encourage artistic excellence, and provide professional enrichment opportunities to both staff and students. Students graduating from MSAKC will be prepared to enroll in an academic university, an arts conservatory, or pursue a professional artistic endeavor. For our first year, we will be starting with grades 6, 7, and 8 with students taking a rigorous curriculum of Math, Science, Social Studies, and English as well as PE/Fencing and a Foreign Language. Students will then take 2 art-intensive blocks every afternoon in their chosen discipline of Visual Art, Theater, Dance, and Vocal.

Opening in August, 2020, we will be starting with grades 9 and 10 with students taking a rigorous curriculum of Math, Science, Social Studies, and English.
