KC Ikebana was so happy to come together to create a beautiful ikebana display for the Kansas City Japan Festival. Since the very first festival 25 years ago, our students and teachers have been able to show Kansas City what ikebana is all about. Here are photos of the larger group arrangements as well as the individual ones created with heart, passion and laughter. Enjoy!

How an arrangement changes from class to home. This one was very similar with just an additional leaf to give some added height to the composition. Nice work Karen, love the artistic use of the mother-in-law’s tongue.

Miniature arrangements put together to make an impact as a grouping. These sometimes get so small that you only use parts of the flowers and not whole ones. Nice work Dawn!
