Were you aware that approximately 1,200 international and immigrant students are taking classes at JCCC?
The Student Basic Needs Center welcomes many international and immigrant students who cannot regularly afford to purchase food from their native countries. To accommodate cultural and dietary food preferences, Cav Cupboard provides an international food section; however, the demand for the food keeps our shelves bare.
To refill our shelves, Cav Cupboard will hold a food drive as part of International Education Week November 14-18. Scan the QR code to see the list of items. Items may also be purchased at specialty international markets or in the international aisle of larger supermarkets.
Additional details are included on the enclosed flyer. Please contact Steve Franklin, Coordinator, Student Basic Needs at [email protected] or ext. 4718 with questions.
Thank you for your support!
