New instructor Thomas Maillioux recently taught WDCE’s first 3D printing class of the summer! A maker and educator with over 10 years of experience, Thomas brings technical and design skills to learners of all ages and backgrounds. Their desktop manufacturing and fabrication classes at several Kansas City makerspaces are equal parts precision and fun. Thomas centers their teaching practice on the core belief that engaging your hands and mind in building is one of the most powerful ways to learn.
If you’re interested in 3D printing and design, Thomas has several more classes coming up! For those who want to get straight into 3D modeling, we recommend beginning with the “Intro to Tinkercad” course.
