Those relationship-centered skills naturally carried over into financial advising, where he helps individuals and families align their finances with their values and goals.
Before becoming a financial advisor, Chase was a top-producing mortgage loan officer, helping clients prepare for homeownership and build a strong financial foundation. Today, he creates customized financial strategies designed to help people achieve their goals and live with purpose. He is passionate about building meaningful relationships with clients and helping them create a future that reflects what matters most to them.

Meet Dolan Jahn, WDCE’s newest welding instructor! Dolan discovered his passion for welding in the tenth grade, and it has remained the foundation of his career ever since. With over a decade of experience as a Welding Engineer and Welding Instructor, he is passionate about developing the next generation of skilled welders by combining real-world industry experience with hands-on instruction.
His welding background spans aerospace, nuclear, construction, and industrial manufacturing. Dolan’s multidisciplinary experience gives him practical expertise in welding processes, AWS codes, procedure development, quality assurance, and field operations. He strives to create an engaging learning environment that emphasizes safety, technical excellence, critical thinking, and the practical skills students need to succeed in today's workforce.

Please welcome Lissa Haag, one of our new Mah Jongg instructors! She will be teaching daytime sessions of “Mah Jongg 101”, as well as facilitating in “Mah Jongg Open Play”.
Lissa first discovered the game while traveling to Asia during her career in product development with Hallmark. After retiring, she began playing the American version and quickly developed a love for both the game and for teaching Mah Jongg to others. Her classes are interactive, relaxed, and paced to meet the needs of her students.

Want to get creative this fall? Diren He is WDCE’s resident painting expert, having taught watercolor and oil painting with WDCE since 2011! With a distinguished 30-year career as an artist at Hallmark Cards, he brings a wealth of professional experience to his students. His curriculum covers fundamental painting techniques, color theory, and the principles of drawing and composition.
Diren holds an MFA (Master of Fine Arts) degree from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. His work has been featured in numerous art shows and galleries, reflecting his technical mastery and unique artistic vision.
