Freedom Learning Academy

09/07/2026

School starts September 9 — and enrollment is still open at Freedom Learning Academy! ❤️🤍💙

Has your child’s current school option already started to feel like it may not be the right fit?

Maybe your child needs:

❤️More individual attention
🤍A smaller, more supportive learning environment
💙A fresh start after struggling socially, emotionally, or academically
❤️A homeschool-style experience—but you work and cannot be the one teaching at home every day
🤍A setting where they can learn at their own pace and feel seen
💙A detox from learning on screens
❤️More time to move their body and connect with nature

Freedom Learning Academy offers families a flexible alternative: a supportive learning environment designed for students who may need something different from traditional school.

You do not have to choose between working and giving your child a more personalized education. We help provide structure, guidance, learning support, and a community where students can grow with confidence.

📚 School begins September 9
✅ We are still accepting enrollment until full
📍 Serving families in the Kansas City area

If you have been thinking, “There has to be a better fit for my child,” this may be your sign to explore a new option.

Send us a message today for enrollment information, availability, and to find out whether Freedom Learning Academy could be a good fit for your family. ❤️🤍💙

❤️🤍💙 This is Josiah Enyart, former Head of School at Freedom Learning Academy. I did take a new position at another school, but I’m working with a new Head of School for Freedom Learning Academy, Bri Lee.

💙🤍❤️ If you are interested in knowing more about FLA, or are looking for alternative school options for the upcoming school year, please continue to read this post.

❤️🤍💙 First off, I apologize for the lack of communication and any confusion that I have caused since stepping away from FLA. I have not stopped trying to find a way to keep FLA going. I have been on vacation, working at my new position, all while still working behind the scenes to advocate for FLA’s future.

❤️🤍💙 I believe that there needs to be more options for families in regards to educational experiences that fit their needs, and I know FLA was a great option for many families, and can continue to be with the right leadership.

❤️🤍💙 Bri is a go-getter. She’s passionate about alternative education options for parents and started JoCo Homeschool Get Together. She’s amazing, and has intentions to keep FLA going into this school year.

❤️💙💙 If you are interested in enrolling at FLA, or want to help out in any way, please contact Bri immediately.
Her email is [email protected]

❤️🤍💙 FLA will be K-6 for the upcoming school year, unless there is a high level of interest for 7-8th grade.
The structure and format will remain the same, as well as the Guiding Principles.

❤️🤍💙 There will be an Open House date coming out in the next week. If you would like to receive that flyer/date, please respond by filling out this Google Form in the comments.

❤️🤍💙 Thank you for your patience and support for growing the alternative education movement. I pray that everyone finds the best fit for their family’s educational journey. If you know of anyone looking for a school for this upcoming school year, please feel free to share this information.

~Josiah Enyart
