The studio has a couple of openings starting this summer for new students! If you’ve been on the fence about lessons, now is the best time to get started! Get learning before the school year starts back up in August and calendars get busy again.

First set of Chromatic King buttons are off the press!! Students can earn their badge by completing each chromatic scale assignment during the month of May!!

Proud proud proud teacher moment. These students of mine are simply the best. The paper chain they’re holding represents each day of practice they all put in this past month preparing for their recital. I have the BEST job and no one can change my mind!!

THIS Saturday, March 28th is our spring studio recital and bassoon ensemble concert at St. Marks United Methodist Church! In the fall, in lieu of tickets, we accepted good will donations to the Santa Fe Waystation, the food pantry that operates out of St. Marks. The community response was overwhelming! Our audience filled not only the pews but the donation table as well, helping many of those less fortunate in our community. Let’s band together again to make a difference! February is such a beautiful time in the bassoon studio world! The semester is off to the start, but things aren’t crazy yet with mid-terms or spring sports and graduation.
