Moxie is such an adorable little art space, and watching how kids and families find their creative home here is such a gift.

And one of the things that makes Moxie Magic, are the incredible teachers.

This week’s art camp kids were surprised every morning with magical moments.

Tuesday little carrots appeared in their bunny houses, Wednesday every bunny was found with handmade sparkly crowns, and Thursday every bunny house sprouted little pipe cleaner flowers.

Staci and Jacy made the week unlike any other for the Moxie Art Kids. They stayed late (don’t tell the kids) every night planning the morning magic, and their care for kids just isn’t normal, it’s magic.

They are magic.

Both Staci and Jacy are elementary teachers that make the world brighter for kids during the school year, and over the summers at Moxie.

And you don’t have to take my word for it. I’ve received emails and texts from grateful moms saying the same thing. Lucky kids!!

So grateful for you both!!! Love ya! 🩷

Somedays it feels like 4 hours is more like 15 minutes.

Art Camp just goes sooo fast!!

First year, first week of Tween Camp at Moxie and we’re head over heels!

This crafty bunch of Moxie Art Kids (frequent art campers), made colorful trinket shelves for their squishies, and then rhinestoned their water gel jars!!

Tomorrow includes painting personalized wood sign photo holders. 🎨🎉

Kids camps have been full for months, but we still have a couple tween openings. Check out the Moxie website to see what’s open for your age 8-13 art kids!!

Summer has started and there is no slowing down for this family!!

Every stage of being a mom has been fun and exciting, but I have to say this season feels special.

Clara started her internship at COR - Leawood where she’ll be working with youth. Adya started her last year of nursing school and she’s preparing for clinicals - ugh, so freaking exciting!! And Bria is a teen now and is living her best teen summer hanging with friends, working with the art camp kids, and will be going on her first out of state serve trip in a few weeks.

And Branden and I, well we’re still dreaming and creating. Between Moxie, and family adventures (we picked asparagus the other day 🩷), we bought a laser and have started something new. We’ll announce more later, but we just got our first BIG account and that new project excitement, goosebumps feeling is real.
