Train how you race!

KU Nutrition faculty Dr. Jessica Provost shared a nutrition tip ahead of the annual Rock Chalk Run. She often sees runners failing to train how they race.

"If we’re training for a morning 5K or 10K, we should have at least one workout a week that mimics that so we can learn which snacks or drinks work for us at that time of day."

The third annual KU Executive Coaching seminar is in full swing at the KU Edwards Campus. The multi-day certification seminar has attracted seasoned professionals from across the country eager to learn proven and practical coaching methodology along with leadership insight from the University of Kansas. The seminar is being led by Michael Neuendorff, Center for Executive Coaching (CEC), with additional speakers from both KU and CEC. KU Chief Marketing Officer Chris Gregory shared key lessons in personal branding with the attendees yesterday. By Friday, attendees will have earned dual-branded executive coaching certification from CEC and KU and leave KU Edwards with a new network of like-minded professionals.
