Special 1/2 marathon update. The 1/2 M race will Start & Finish in Ridgway this year. It will not start in Ouray. The route has been changed to accommodate ongoing road and bridge construction near Corbett Creek on CR 17. All races will start and finish at Ridgway Frontier Park/Athletic Field along CR23. Thank you to all who expressed their concern and reached out to us about the Gold Mountain fire. Due to the quick action of all emergency responders, local law enforcement, heroic firefighters, and emergency command coordination on the ground and air, the city of Ouray proper, the town of Ridgway, and all Ouray County lands to the west of HWY 550, including the Mt. Sneffels Half Marathon and 10K race course, are all clear and untouched. See you on August 15, 2026
