🚨 Exciting new tradition for graduation! 🚨

A New Tradition Begins! 🎓
Ottumwa Community School District is excited to announce a new date and time for the Class of 2027 Commencement Ceremony for Ottumwa High School and Gateway High School! To provide a memorable Saturday evening celebration, commencement will now take place on Saturday, May 22, 2027, at 7:00 PM, instead of the previously scheduled Sunday, May 23, at 2:00 PM.

Join us as we celebrate the accomplishments of our graduating seniors on Saturday, May 22, 2027, at 7:00 PM under the lights at Schafer Stadium. We look forward to honoring the Class of 2027 alongside their families, friends, and our community.

Location: Schafer Stadium, 1401 E. 4th Street
Shuttle Service: Round-trip shuttle available between Ottumwa High School and Schafer Stadium

Students had a great time at the Build My Future event held at the Iowa State fairgrounds on Wednesday.
At the event, students participated in hands-on, interactive learning labs and engaged directly with industry experts to explore careers in construction, trades, and related fields.
