Crossing Guard at Jefferson Elementary School - Ottawa, IL
7:30-8:30 a.m. and 2:30- 3:30 p.m.
Tuesday afternoon hours are 2:00-3:00 p.m.
Half Day attendance is 7:30-8:30 a.m. and 11:20 a.m. -12:20 p.m.
If hired, you will be required to turn in a physical, one-step TB test and have a criminal background check completed. Apply in person at 320 West Main Street or download an application online.

Welcome Back! Here is the August menus.
Good news! OES will be offering meals to students at no charge again this year under the USDA CEP program! Each student may receive a full breakfast and lunch each day. Anything taken in addition to the regular meal will be subject to charges to the student meal account.

This past Friday, over 150 musicians from 5th through 8th grade completed their participation in the Ottawa Elementary Summer Band Program with an electric performance! Thank you to all the musicians, alumni, and community members for sharing their talent and dedication with Ottawa!

5th Grade Girls Basketball Coach – Central Intermediate School

Central Intermediate School is seeking a 5th Grade Girls Basketball Coach for the 2026–2027 school year.

Applicants must have prior basketball coaching experience and a flexible schedule to accommodate practices and games.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Planning and conducting practices
Communicating with players and families
Coordinating game day activities, including setting up and tearing down concessions
Scheduling parent volunteers for home games
Assisting during the 6th grade game
Collaborating with the 7th and 8th grade coaching staff to support the overall basketball program
