This past Friday, our school hosted the elementary Bible, academics, and fine arts competition for the Mid-America Association of Christian Schools. Congratulations to our students who competed! In addition to bringing home many individual awards, they also won four school awards for CBA, including both highest total points and highest percentage in academics as well as highest percentage in both art and music. We are proud of our young people, their hard work, accomplishments, and most of all their great attitudes to the glory of God!

Come visit our garage sale fundraiser for CBA! We have a huge selection of items for sale including clothes, decorations, toys, furniture, books, tools, baby items, outdoor items, and much more. There's sure to be something for everyone!

Congratulations to our students from Calvary Baptist Academy and Calvary Baptist Home Educators who recently competed in the Mid-America Association of Christian Schools junior/senior high regional competition held at Faith Baptist Bible College in Ankeny, IA. This competition involved students from MO, KA, IA, NE, and MN. Our home educators brought home a total of 17 individual awards, and our academy students were recognized with 35 individual awards! In addition, our academy students brought home 2 school awards for the highest total points in academics and highest percentage in academics. (Some of our student participants are not pictured.) We are very thankful for the hard work of these talented young people to prepare for competition!

Congratulations to our students from Calvary Baptist Academy and Calvary Baptist Home Educators who recently competed in the Mid-America Association of Christian Schools elementary competition held here in Ottawa. In addition to winning 28 individual awards, this small but dedicated band of students (one not pictured) brought home 3 out of the 10 school awards, including highest total points in academics as well as highest percentage in academics and art. We are very thankful for our talented young people and their hard work to prepare for competition!

On February 24-25, our boys' varsity basketball team participated in the KACS invitational basketball tournament in Abilene, KS. Out of a total of six teams, we came home with first place! Three of our boys also made the all-tournament team. Under the direction of our coaches, and led by several seniors, our team achieved a 13-4 record this year. We're very proud of our team and the great season they enjoyed!
